“Caitlin was absolutely amazing from the start with our phone calls right up until the end. This was the first time we have had to say goodbye to one of our fur babies and it just felt right for it to be done in Chester’s happy place at home surrounded by his little chihuahua family and he’s loved ones. Caitlin was so supportive and reassuring throughout putting our baby to sleep and was literally our rock as we were extremely upset.She let us have our own privacy to say goodbye and never rushed anything like a vet would do at a veterinary practice. I literally cannot thank Caitlin enough for being our rock and making the most emotional and heartbreaking experience as comforting as possible !

“We recently come to the decision that our boy Bailey had to be put to sleep, there was no question that we wanted somebody to come to our home as Bailey always hated going to the vets. Caitlin was recommended to us and as soon as we spoke to her we felt reassured and that Bailey would feel relaxed and in good hands . Caitlin came to our house straight off a night shift to fit us in, she made all of us feel at ease, our children were present, there was no rush she went through the procedure and answered any questions we had. she gave Bailey lots of love and attention and treated him with the utmost respect and dignity that he deserved. “Caitlin (my dog) could not have been better served yesterday. Caitlin (the vet) was so careful to make sure that the painful (for me) process of saying goodbye to a treasured pet and best friend as easy as possible and Caitlin (my dog) passed so peacefully without any stress or pain at all. She died in my arms, in her own home with her trusty buddy Alfie near her. I cannot recommend Forget me not Pets highly enough for the patience, empathy and just sheer kindness at the most stressful of times. “Caitlin was superb - she treated our greyhound, Bluebell, with the utmost kindness and respect in her last moments. Bluebell was incredibly anxious and became agitated when the time came to begin the procedure, but Caitlin remained calm throughout offering helpful suggestions and even sat in the car for over half an hour while we calmed Bluebell down again. In the end, one of Caitlin's methods allowed Bluebell to remain relaxed from start to finish and it was a peaceful experience being able to say goodbye to our girl in this way. We will be forever grateful for that, as we know that taking her to the vets would have increased her stress level massively and we didn't want her last moments to be full of fear. “We had to make the difficult decision of putting our 14 year old Rottweiler to sleep after him declining in health rapidly. We couldn’t recommend Caitlin at Forget Me Not Pets highly enough. The process from the first phone call to the very end was made as smooth as possible as can be in a distressing situation. Caitlin was responsive, supportive with the right level of sympathy. Took the time to make a fuss of Butch and talked us through the whole process clearly which put us at ease. Butch was comfortable and did not feel a thing and peacefully went to sleep. “Forget me nots came out to my cat when I needed them the most. I didn’t want to take my elderly boy to the vets, I wanted him to end peacefully and happy in his own home with all the people that loved him around him. Caitlin arrived and put my mind at rest that no more could be done and that we were doing the right thing. She explained all the steps that were next calmly and sympathetically. She was extremely respectful to the situation and was customer lead throughout.
Even though the circumstances are sad I am happy to know that my boy went in a dignified way.
I requested the paw prints and hair cuttings and they arrived in a beautiful way, these are things that I will keep always.
